Corian-Missoni exhibition

A stunning combination of patterns, colours and textures. Here, the feeling of softness and comfort coming from the cushioned furniture is enhanced by long-pile carpet. Despite the fact that long-pile carpets are more commonly used as smaller rugs, the relevant interior demonstrates how powerful the effect of coziness could be if the floor is fully covered with shag carpet. In addition the long pile is great for noise reduction thus a perfect match for a bedroom.

“Corian loves Missoni” in Milan

May14

2008 Corian exhibition by DuPont - "Corian loves Missoni" in Milan

Corian, by DuPont, offers the kind of versatility that lends itself perfectly to enhancing the unique Missoni (an Italian fashion house based in Varese) sense of style. The boldly striped solid surfaces of Corian are used to create a vision of elegance and liveliness to the absolutely plain white background. The special qualities of this material lend it to applications that only imagination limits. For example the shower cabin on picture 3 shows how a tiny patterned space can turn into focal point and break the monotonous plain walls. The relevant bright and flexible material expresses an ethos of modern living that is energetically partnered. Simple, rational designs for living show off the stunning colour combinations and distinctive flair of Corian.
